Paula Elisa Garcia is a latin queer independent producer, director and writer, graduated from Darcy Ribeiro School of Cinema (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil) in Cinematographic Direction and from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA-Extension), where she studied Production for Film and TV.

Paula is interested in the intersection between technology and mental health, she/they had over 5 years of experience in the Brazilian film industry as Assistant Director and Independent Producer, prior to come to Los Angeles in the end of 2019. "Wake Up Early" is her first-time director short.
